Understanding your bill should be straightforward, and at Ocean Charge, we strive to make billing clear and simple. Here's what you need to know about your first bill.

Newer customers

As a new Ocean Charge customer, your bill date will be determined by the date of your EV charging service activation, unless you specified a different date during sign-up. Please note that services are billed in advance, so a bill raised on the 1st of the month will cover your charging service for that entire month.

When will I receive my first bill?

You will receive your first bill on the billing cycle date you selected during your sign-up process.

I have received my bill via email, now what?

Payment will be automatically collected three working days after your bill is issued, using the payment method you set up during registration, typically via Direct Debit.

Can I only pay by Direct Debit?

Yes, we currently accept payments exclusively through Direct Debit. Our Terms and Conditions require you to maintain an active Direct Debit to pay your monthly bill. If you need to update your payment details, please contact our Customer Service team via chat or submit a request through our portal.

Can I change my bill date?

If you wish to change your billing date, please reach out to our Customer Service team via hello@oceancharge.uk. We'll be happy to discuss the available options with you.
