Installation Types
Wall Mounted Charge Point
This installation involves mounting the charge point directly onto an external or internal wall of your property. Our engineers will determine the best location for optimal performance and accessibility.
Column Mounted Charge Point
Ideal for sites with limited wall space, this installation uses existing columns or poles to mount the charge point. The column is fitted with the necessary infrastructure to securely hold the charging unit, providing a clean and unobtrusive setup.
Pedestal Mounted Charge Point
This freestanding installation uses a pedestal to securely mount the charge point, often in parking areas or where wall or column mounting isn’t feasible. The pedestal is anchored to the ground and connected to our power supply network, ensuring a robust and accessible charging solution.
EV Tower Mounted Charge Point
For floating or elevated parking spaces, we offer an innovative tower-mounted installation. This involves installing a floor-to-ceiling tower that supports the charge point, perfect for multi-story car parks or areas where traditional mounting isn’t possible. Our engineers will ensure the tower is securely fitted and positioned for easy use.
General Installation Process
Site Survey
Our installations do not require a survey prior to installation.
Preparation Work
Depending on your chosen installation type, our engineers may need to run cables or install infrastructure prior to your installation date. You will not need to be on-site for this preparation work.
Installation Day
On your scheduled installation date, our engineers will arrive to complete the setup. They will discuss the best cable routes and positioning with you, ensuring minimal disruption and a neat, professional finish.
Testing and Handover
Once installed, our engineers will test the charge point to ensure it’s fully operational. They will guide you through how to use the system and answer any questions you might have.
