I am moving home, what are my options?

We understand that moving home can be a busy time, and we’re here to help make the transition as smooth as possible with your Ocean Charge service.

If you're moving to a new location and want to continue using our service:

  • Check service availability: Use our postcode checker to see if Ocean Charge is available at your new address.
  • Transfer your service: If we service your new location and you wish to continue with us, simply get in touch via chat or submit a request, and we’ll handle the transfer process for you.

If Ocean Charge is not available at your new address:

Unfortunately, you will need to cancel your contract with us. However, to help with the transition, we can reduce any applicable early cancellation fees by 50%, provided we receive proof of your move.

Acceptable proof of move includes:

  • A copy of your new tenancy agreement.
  • Council tax documentation showing your full name and new address.
  • A bank statement with your new address.

Once we receive valid proof, we will apply the reduction to your cancellation fee. If proof of your move is not provided, the full cancellation fee will apply.

Cancellation fees explained:

Cancellation fees are calculated by multiplying your monthly bill by the number of months remaining on your contract. For example, if your monthly charge is £25 and you have four months left, your cancellation fee would be £100.

If you're moving to an area we service but do not wish to continue using our services, the full cancellation fees will apply.
